Fermented Skin Products

Probiotics and prebiotics are the result of microbiome technology, a popular trend many beauty and personal care companies are using. There are not enough studies to back the results but it is thought that probiotic skin care makes skin healthy and safe for most people, if not all.

In my words, fermented ingredients are nutritious topical food for your skin. The more fermented a formulation, the more nourishing the product is. Using prebiotics and probiotics on the skin, one starts seeing results in just a week's time of using it. Fermented skin products aka microbiome skincare help to restore healthy microbiome for skin. After cleansing, pour numbuzin essence in hand and apply on the face. Pat for absorption. Or, dispense on cotton pad(s) and apply. Or leave them on for 1-2 minutes where the skin is dryer for more hydration. Pat later for absorption.

numbuzin No.3 Super Glowing Essence Toner Review:

numbuzin No.3 Super Glowing Essence Toner has a watery, slightly viscous texture with a pale hue. It does not have a tacky feel and absorbs well. The product tingles a bit upon application, respective of a toner.

numbuzin toner 3 is not for very dry skin types. I have very dry skin so I need to layer the product.

numbuzin no 3 toner combines two skincare steps in one – essence and toner eliminating the need to use separate products and saving time. It can be used as a standalone treatment product under the moisturizer. You can use it with other treatment products but you would not need to.

The no 3 toner can be worn throughout the year for AM and PM routines.

A downside is that numbuzin super glowing essence has three perfuming ingredients which make for a strong fragrance. I have sensitive skin that does not tolerate fragrance. After using it twice I realized I could not use it on the face. Instead, I am using it for hands and body and already seeing the skin improving. Also, toners are technically not made for my skin so I prefer not using them. My skin loves essences, but after using this product I can confidently say it wears more like a toner than an essence.

If you love toners, or don’t have sensitive skin or an issue with fragrance, then I suggest you try the product. If sensitive skin types want to try, consider a patch test. The 50 fermented ingredients in the No 3 essence toner make it a nourishing and a solid formulation.

numbuzin No.3 Skin Softening Serum, 1.69 Fl Oz (50ml), US$ 28 is a fermented texture care serum with golden ratio of galactomyces and bifida to strengthen skin barrier, restore skin microbiome, improve rough texture and tone, reduce enlarged pores and appearance of wrinkles, and treat dull and dry skin making it healthy. It is oil and fragrance free.

numbuzin 3 serum is suitable for all skin types especially combination skin. It addresses pores, and rough and textured skin concerns.

The skin softening serum comes in a bottle with a dropper.

Apply a few drops of numbuzin serum 3 or as needed all over the face and neck. Pat for absorption. Follow up with a moisturizer.

numbuzin No.3 Skin Softening Serum Review:

The numbuzin No.3 Skin Softening Serum has a light, watery gel texture that glides on the skin and fully absorbs. It does not leave any tackiness. It keeps the skin hydrated, plump and dewy. My skin loves fermented ingredients, so I personally like layering it twice. But if you're new to fermented skincare then I suggest you start with not more than a few drops until your skin gets used to it.

numbuzin no 3 serum can be used in all seasons and for both AM and PM skin routines. Try not to use active ingredients such as retinol, AHAs, and Vitamin C with it unless you have done so before and you believe your skin has that level of threshold to bear that. 

I am currently using a matte sunscreen on the numbuzin no 3 skin softening serum, a gentle sheen still peaks through. Other times I wear an occlusive moisturizer over it, and the skin looks marvelous to touch the whole day. It gives the Korean glass skin effect. Numbuzin skin softening serum has silk extract which makes for a seamless base under makeup. The silk ingredient is one of the reasons numbuzin derived its branding name "softening" from, but that is not to divert your attention from the main ingredient sharing that name that is there to perform and deliver results, bifida and galactomyces ferment filtrate. This is a combination complex ingredient in the ratio of 2:1 that will improve bumpy skin texture and roughness, making it smooth. Formulation of the galactomyces serum is supplemented with ingredients such as glycerin and squalane that are great for dry skin types, also making the product a good choice for fermented skincare beginners.

Fermented products can sometimes be pricey because it takes more time to produce the main ingredient. But this galactomyces skincare product is improving my skin and making it healthy. I found numbuzin no3 serum as one of the best probiotic for skin that I have tried.
